Alot of creators from certain industries on Webscoop requested us to age verify their clients before they tip them or join their Telegram channel. They wanted this to comply with local laws and reduce fraud.
And guess what? We heard them!!
Webscoop Released Age Verification Before Checkout With Yoti.com!
With our recent partnership with Yoti, creators can age verify (18+ check) their clients before they make any purchase. Clients have to provide a National Id and scan their face to match the picture in national ID.
Cost - $2/Verification
For every successful age verification of a client through Yoti, creator has to pay a $2 additional fees from their transaction. Creators must note that their client needs to verify their age only once. We save their email in our database of age verified clients so that they can make subsequent purchases without verifying their age. That also means that if other creators has already age verified client A then you don't have to pay any additional fees for client A's age verification.
How to enable it in Webscoop?
To enable this setting on Webscoop, please visit account section and scroll till the end and put the switch ON.
