Tutorial - Age Verification Workflow


1) Enabling Age Verification
Navigate to the "Wishlist" tab and click on "Add Product." In the "Add Product" popup, toggle the switch to enable age verification for this item.



 


2) Displaying Age Restriction
Once enabled, the item will display an "18+ only" tag on your wishlist, indicating that the gifter must complete age verification to purchase it. 



 


3) Age Verification Process
When a gifter enters their email and hasn’t previously been age-verified on Webscoop, a popup will prompt them to verify their age with a face scan. Yoti will attempt to estimate their age through a quick selfie. If the gifter appears to be over 21 years old, no physical ID is needed. If they appear underage, they will need to retry or proceed with full ID verification. 



 


4) Completing the Payment
Once the gifter is age-verified, they can proceed with the payment. Age verification is a one-time process, and we store clients' emails so they won’t need to verify their age again, even when purchasing from other models. 



 


5) Viewing Verification Status
